In WWW world, there are lots of software programs or tools are available, we should have some basic software/tools, which will help us to improve our productivity and make our work easier.
For backup:
Dropbox: – Dropbox is the best solution to store our personal data or any file. Using Dropbox, you can access your account/data from Anywhere. Dropbox is providing 2 TB storage for Free account.
OneDrive: Like a Dropbox, OneDrive is also a solution for storage. It has same functionality as a Dropbox or Google Drive has. Microsoft providing the same Storage 15 GB like a Google Drive. The data sync is fast and has cross platform.
Google Drive: Google is providing a cloud storage solution as like Dropbox, the question is why we use Google drive, because they are providing 15 GB storage. However, this storage is for all the google product like Photos, Including Gmail.
Along with Google is also providing to access to Excel, Docs, Slide, Calendar etc. Not only can upload or download, you can create a file inside that.
For Compression
When we download a file from Internet, sometimes file comes with a .zip, .rar or etc.
WINRar:- Using WINRar easily you can make a file in zip or rar format or you can extract any .zip or .rar file. This is the best utility to use for compression.
Browser:
Whoever Microsoft giving a browser by default with Windows OS. There is lots of Browser which can help you to improve performance like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox etc.
FTP, SSH:
FTP is a Network protocol which used to share any files on network between a client and a server.
FTP Client and Server: Filezilla
SSH: Putty
Office Suite:
To open a file doc file or excel file we should have an tool install in our computer. There are many options to open these file. The best is providing by Microsoft called Office 365. With Office 365 you will get only one month trial version. Full version you can purchase with 360 ₹ per month.
Instead of buying this you can also use Open Office.
NotePad++ and Source Code editor:
Notepad++
Notepad++ is a free source code editor and providing many features to the users Like Multi Document(TAB), Zoom In Zoom Out, Multilanguage environment support.
Desktop sharing or Remote Control:
TeamViewer: TeamViewer is a package which provides Desktop sharing, remote control, file sharing etc features. This tool is completely free for the Personal use or non-commercial use.
Anydesk: Anydesk is also a desktop sharing, remote control tool like a TeamViewer. You don’t need to install this tool, it works in portable mode.
